Four athletes from St. Francis DeSales High School made their futures evident on Thursday, Nov. 13, as they officially signed letters of intent or celebrated their commitment to attend colleges across the country for their sport. Nov. 12
marked the first day that high school seniors could sign scholarship papers for the following sports: baseball, basketball, golf, lacrosse, softball, swimming, tennis, volleyball, water polo (girls only), track & field and wrestling. The letter of intent is a binding agreement between the student-athlete and a college, by which the student-athlete agrees to attend the college for one academic year.
The following student-athletes signed as part of the NCAA National Letter of Intent Signing Day:
- DJ Strapp- Signed with Ohio Dominican University to play Baseball
- Reed Norris– Signed with Marshall University to play Baseball
- Anne Marie Cummins- – Signed with Xavier University for Swimming
- Abby Julian- Signed with Marquette University to play Volleyball
